Bedding on a tiled roof is the mortar on which your ridge caps sit on prior to flexi pointing. We clear out the old bedding, lift the caps or gables and mix sand and cement and with the aid of a bedding rack we secure the caps or gables back down.
It is essential the bedding is strong (good mix of sand and cement) and that the ridge caps are completely straight, ready for flexible pointing.
